Our Commitment
At Peninsula Hot Springs, we are committed to enhancing the mental and physical well-being of our customers and the community.
Our collaboration with the community is not just a principle but a cornerstone of Peninsula Hot Springs’ promise to offer experiences to ‘connect with your pure nature’. We gauge our success as a leading health and wellness destination by the opportunities we create for people to reconnect with nature, each other, and themselves.
When it comes to delivering our commitment, we value working closely with our partner organisations, which are experts on the issues we focus on.
We are fortunate to have discovered Mentis Assist, a Mornington Peninsula based not-for-profit mental health organisation that provides specialised support for people living with a diagnosed mental illness, long-term homelessness, family violence and substance abuse.
In 2018, we launched a charity cycling event, Ride for Relief, in partnership with Mentis Assist, to raise greater awareness and much-needed funds to support one in two Australian adults who experience a mental disorder during their lifetime.
the story behind the event
Peninsula Hot Springs was founded by two brothers, Charles and Richard Davidson, in 2005.
In February 2015, after Richard contributed to the initial business for 18 years, we lost him to suicide. This tragedy was left deep in everyone’s heart and underlies our commitment to support mental illness.
The Ride for Relief was created to prompt essential discussions surrounding mental health.
